Your electrical panel or fuse box is like the central nervous system to your body. It’s a giant brain center that controls your home’s electricity. It handles the current coming in, and safely distributes it throughout the house through the various circuits allocated to different areas of your home.
Fuse breakers or fuses, protect your system from overloading the circuits. When an overload occurs your circuit breaker gets “tripped” and if you have a fuse, it burns out. The end result is that electricity stops flowing until the circuit is reset or the fuse is replaced.
